"His actions allowed us to truly appreciate the professionalism and compassion of the airport staff." On the evening of Aug. 13, Zhou and her parents learned that a close relative had passed away. They needed to travel urgently to Xi'an in Shaanxi Province to make funeral arrangements. However, overwhelmed by grief, Zhou's parents were unable to complete the mobile check-in process in time and missed the last flight of the day. Wang helped the family rebook their tickets on the earliest flight the following morning, scheduled to depart shortly after 6 a.m. He then escorted them to a hotel near the airport for the night.
